Jiazhou Chen
I am an Asistant Professor in the School of Computer Science of Zhejiang University of Technology since 2013. And I am now the deputy director of Computer Software Institute.
Before that, I received my Ph.D.s from manao team in INRIA Bordeaux Sud-Ouest (Université de Bordeaux ) in France under the guidance of Xaiver Granier and Pascal Barla, and the State Key Lab. of CAD&CG (Zhejiang University ) in China under the guidance of Qunsheng Peng.
Research interests:
- Computer graphics (3D modeling and segmentation).
- Visual computing and visualization for cultural heritage.

2025.06: our work “Transformer-based Tooth Alignment Prediction with Occlusion and Collision Constraints” has been accepted by ICCV 2025 with a new dataset: TeethAlign3D.
2025.06: our work “LSN-VA: A Visual Analysis System for Ancient Chinese Literati Social Network” has been accepted by ChinaVis 2025, and won the Best Paper Honorable Mention Award.
2025.06: our work “镜轴古今——时空之镜鉴,京华之乐章” has won the First Prize in the Humanities Visualization Creativity Competition of ChinaVis 2025. Its demo video can be found in Bilibili.
2023.10:our work “Efficient Interpolation of Rough Line Drawings” has been accepted by Computer Graphics Forum, and won the Best Paper Award in PG 2023.
2023.07:our work “Poetry4painting: Diversified poetry generation for large-size ancient paintings based on data augmentation” has been accepted by Computer & Graphics, and won the Best Paper Honorable Mention Award in CAD/Graphics 2023.
2022.08:our work “FAFNet: Fully-Aligned Fusion Network for RGBD Semantic Segmentation based on Hierarchical Semantic Flows” has been accepted by IET Image Processing.
2022.05: our work “3D Instance Segmentation for MVS Buildings” has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing with a new dataset: InstanceBuilding.
2022.03: our survey “Surveys on Line Drawings Simplification for Chinese cultural computing” has been accepted by The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications.
